Our Story:
Established in 2006, Lavish Transport Ltd., based in Winnipeg, MB first started with a 5-tractor trailer fleet providing reefer van and open deck transportation services within Western Canada. In 2010 the company expanded to 25 tractor trailer units along with providing transportation services into Eastern Canada plus to and from points in the USA. Since inception our asset base fleet has now grown to over 65 tractor units with over 14 years experience as an open deck carrier committed on providing reliable and efficient truck load (TL), less than truck load (LTL) and over dimensional (OD) transportation services throughout Canada along with designated traffic lanes in the USA marketplace.
Safety:
Safety is a high priority when it comes to our equipment and drivers. First off, our tractor fleet is always not more than 3 years old along with our trailer fleet not more than 6 years old to ensure our drivers have updated and well-maintained equipment in their hands at all times. Second, we go beyond the provincial/federal safety standards in which both fleets go through our company’s mandatory safety policy with a rigorous quarterly B safety inspection and preventive maintenance program to ensure we are on the road, on time every time to meet our customer’s transportation service requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
Technology:
Our tractor units are equipped with the latest technology of Fleet Management Platforms (Keep Truckin) complete with several features such as; ELD Compliance, Smart Dashcam, Fleet Safety Program, Vehicle Diagnostics Maintenance, Messaging and Asset/GPS Tracking systems which offers our customers online tracing of your shipments. In doing so our tractor fleet is then equipped with state of the art satellite communication system which allows us up to date data to effectively trace our units and communicate with our drivers; along with monitor the overall tractor units operating systems in order to prevent unscheduled maintenance and down time so to ensure our customer’s obtain reliable, on time transportation services. Our updated TMW-TruckMate Transportation Management System is a comprehensive Integrated Dispatch, Operations and Accounting Software Program which allows us flow through logistics management of your LTL and TL freight from point of origin to destination.
